Vietnam in the dream of the world in 15 days/14 nights
Day 1: Arrival in Hanoi, Vietnam (D)
Arrival at Noi Bai International Airport in Vietnam.
Welcome by our guide and our driver. Transfer to your hotel in the city center. Time to rest for a while.
A walk in the old district of the 36 animated corporations of Hanoi: Hang Bac, Ma May… and the typical Vietnamese market with the colonial architecture of Dong Xuan.
One-hour pedicab ride through the old city.
Visit the Jade Mountain Temple (Ngoc Son) which is located in the middle of Hoan Kiem Lake (the Restituted Sword).
Welcome dinner at a local restaurant in town. Night at the hotel in Hanoi.
Day 2: Hanoi, a day trip to the capital of Vietnam (B/L/D)
Breakfast at the hotel.
Visit of the Temple of Literature (Van Mieu).
Then, visit the Tran Quoc pagoda, the oldest in Vietnam on the West Lake.
Lunch at local restaurant with Hanoi specialties.
In the afternoon, visit the Museum of Ethnography (closed on Monday).
Performance of puppets on water, a traditional art of the Red River Delta.
Dinner at the local restaurant. Night at the hotel in Hanoi Vietnam.
Day 3: Hanoi, departure to the mountains and discovery of the Mai Chau rice valley (B/L/D)
Breakfast at the hotel.
Departure on the road to Mai Chau
– a beautiful valley sheltering the White Thai ethnic group, via the city of Hoa Binh and the pass of Thung Khe at 1200m altitude.
Arrival in Mai Chau around noon.
Lunch at the local inhabitant’s house with the dishes of the Thais.
In the afternoon: a walk or a bike ride through the ethnic villages of the Thais (the villages of Lac, Poom Coong, Nhot, Van)
Friendly dinner with local dishes.
In the evening, participation in the singing and dancing shows of the Thais. Opportunity to taste the “ruou can” (rice alcohol).
Night at the inhabitant (house on stilts) or at the hotel.
Day 4: Mai Chau, beautiful walks and then discovery of a pleasant natural reserve of Pu Luong (B/L/D)
Breakfast at the inhabitant’s house / at the hotel.
Departure for Pu Luong nature reserve located in Quan Hoa and Ba Thuoc districts of Thanh Hoa province.
Upon arrival in Ban Cong, a 1 hour walk from Ban Cong College to visit the village of Tom des Thais. Passing by norias in the river, sugar cane fields, crossing the two suspension bridges… and ending the walk at the village market.
Take back the vehicle. Arrival at the Pu Luong nature reserve.
Check-in at the eco-hotel (house on stilts).
In the afternoon: easy hike by taking the most beautiful walking route in the Pu Luong nature reserve (08km walking).
From your hotel, heading towards the village of Nong Cong. We cross rice terraces to reach the village of Uoi. Walking continues to the village of Lan Ngoai where you meet women who weave by hand.
Return to Pu Luong Retreat by car. Free time.
Lunch and dinner at the hotel restaurant. Night in Pu Luong (eco-hotel or homestay).
Day 5: Pu Luong- Ninh Binh (Halong Bay), walks and visits (B/L/D)
Breakfast at the inhabitant’s house / at the hotel.
Back on the road to Ninh Binh in the Red River Delta.
Upon arrival at the ancient capital of Vietnam, Hoa Lu, visit the 2 temples dedicated to the kings of 2 feudal dynasties of Dinh and Le.
Lunch in a local restaurant
In the afternoon: transfer to Tam Coc pier for a boat ride on the Ngo Dong river.
Option: either a boat trip to Tam Coc (well known and touristic), or a sampan ride on the site of Thung Nham during 2 hours (site preserved from mass tourism).
Landing. Then, a bike ride to authentic villages to visit the Bich Dong pagoda and Thai Vi temple.
Dinner at the restaurant. Night at the hotel in Tam Coc.
Day 6: Ninh Binh – Halong – Cruise and overnight on the junk (B/L/D)
Morning, after breakfast, departure for Halong Bay via the Red River Delta with photo stops along the way.
Arrival in Halong around noon, boarding the junk for the unforgettable 24-hour cruise in Halong Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
After the welcome drink offered by the junk team, installation in the room.
Lunch is served on board with seafood during.
Stop to visit the natural caves in one of these islands. Possibility of swimming at the beach.
Dinner with se afood and night on board the junk in the bay.
(The concrete program of the cruise will be defined according to the period and the tide level)
Day 7: Halong Bay, cruise and then the road to Hanoi (B/L/D)
Early in the morning, taichi practice for those who want to the upper deck. Then, a light breakfast with bread and croissants while admiring beautiful natural landscapes. The junk continues the cruise towards the other corners of the bay.
Around 09:30, release of the cabins and then time to relax on the upper deck of the junk to contemplate the islands and islets before having the early brunch around 11:00.
Disembarkation around noon at the pier and drive back to Hanoi.
Arrival in Hanoi. Check-in.
Free time to rest, walk around, shop…
Dinner at the restaurant. Night at the hotel in Hanoi.
Day 8: Hanoi – Flight to Da Nang – Hoi An – City tour (B/L/D)
Breakfast at the hotel.
Transfer to Hanoi airport to take the domestic flight to Da Nang.
Welcome by the guide and the driver at your arrival at Da Nang airport. Transfer to your hotel in Hoi An. Arrival in Hoi An. Check-in.
Lunch at the restaurant with local specialties
Afternoon: visit ofa silkworm breeding house and then walk to discover the old town of Hoi An (an old traditional house, the Japanese covered pagoda bridge, the house of the Chinese congregation Phu Kien, the handicraft districts).
Dinner at the local restaurant.
In the evening: free walk in the middle of the old houses with hanging lanterns. A magical multi-colored image of Hoi An city. You can play folk games and put floating lanterns together on the Thu Bon River…

Day 9: Hoi An – Immersion in Hoi An countryside by bicycle (B/L/D) 15km
Breakfast at the hotel.
An original bike ride around Hoi An.
Departure from your hotel by bike around Hoi An in the direction of Tra Que market garden village.
During the walk, you will cross huge rice fields in the middle of nature by taking winding and peaceful paths, far from the tourist trails.
Arrival in Tra Que, stroll in this village and contact with the local people who work in the gardens.
You will be introduced to the history of the village, the method of vegetable cultivation, the use of medicinal plants, the Vietnamese pharmacopoeia and participate in gardening activities such as fertilizing the land with the river algae in the company of the vegetable farmers.
Continue walking through the rice field, to the fishermen village of Van Lang and the water coconut forest of Bay Mau – About 4ha, surrounded by mangrove forest, canals, houses covered with water coconut leaves.
Arriving in the village, you are warmly welcomed by the local people in the village, taste green tea and walk around the village. The fishermen take you to discover their traditional fishing techniques and their coconut forests by a “Thung chai” – Basket boat cruise.
Back to the inhabitant’s house for the preparation of lunch with his family with dishes like crispy pancakes, Hoi an Nem, Tam huu, grilled fish in banana leaf… and you have lunch with the dishes you have prepared .
After lunch, a relaxing break with a foot massage with medicinal herbs.
Return to your hotel by bike.
During the bike tour, if you are tired, our vehicle is available.
Free time for the beach, rest. Dinner at the local restaurant. Night at the hotel in Hoi An.
Day 10: Hoi An – Da Nang – Cloud Pass – Hue – Tours (B/L/D)
Breakfast at the hotel.
Departure to Hue passing the famous Cloud Pass from where you have the panoramic view of Da Nang city, the 4th largest city of Vietnam and Lang Co bay.
Stop in Da Nang to visit the known Dragon Bridge . The Yellow Dragon on the bridge can spit fire as well as water.
Arrival in Hue. Check-in.
Lunch at the restaurant with local specialties
In the afternoon, discovery of the Citadel of Hue with the three enclosures: the Civic City (Kinh Thanh), the Imperial City (Hoang Thanh), and the Forbidden City (Tu Cam Thanh). Built in the 17th century by order ofEmperor Gia Long.
In the late afternoon, a boat ride along the Perfume River and visit the Sacred Pagoda dedicated to the Heavenly Lady (Chua Thien Mu) on the river bank.
Dinner at the local restaurant. Night at the hotel in Hue.
Day 11: Hue – Sightseeing (B/L/D)
Breakfast at the hotel.
Visit to discover the historical and cultural sites of Hue.
We leave the center to visit the tomb of Minh Mang . Afterwards, the imperial tomb of Tu Duc.
Lunch at the restaurant with local specialties
On the way back to the city center, several stops are scheduled to visit the incense stick and conical hat making village and the peaceful Tu Hieu pagoda.
Dinner at a restaurant in town and overnight at the hotel in Hue.
If your group is 10 people and more, you will take theroyal dinner : you will be dressed in the costumes of emperors, queens, princes and princesses; you will taste the imperial dishes accompanied by traditional Vietnamese music.
Day 12: Hue – Da Nang – Flight to Saigon – City tour (B/L/D)
Breakfast at the hotel.
To Ho Chi Minh City.
Transfer to the hotel in the city center to drop off your luggage.
Lunch at a local restaurant.
Afternoon: visit of the Chinese district. Discovery of its old quarters, of its wholesale market of Binh Tay (Cho Lon), of the Thien Hau pagoda, considered as the most beautiful pagoda of the city.
Then, the visit continues in the colonial district with charming colonial buildings: the Notre Dame Cathedral, the City Hall, the Municipal Theater, the Central Post Office.
Dinner at a restaurant in town and overnight in Saigon
Day 13: Saigon – Mekong with the corners of Cai Be – Vinh Long and then Can Tho (B/L/D)
After breakfast, departure to Cai Be – the entrance to the Mekong Delta.
Arrival in Cai Be, board the private boat for the excursion in the arroyos and the crossing of the floating market of Cai Be . Then, you will visit local manufactures: puffed rice candies and caramel candies…
Lunch at the inhabitant’s house with typical local dishes.
Continuation of the cruise towards Vinh Long with fruit tasting on board. Disembarkation in Vinh Long city and resumption of the road to Can Tho, the biggest city of Mekong delta.
Dinner at a restaurant in town and overnight in Can Tho
Day 14: Can Tho, visit the floating market of Cai Rang – Saigon (B/L/D)
Breakfast at the hotel.
In the morning, departure by private sampan to see the most typical floating market of the Mekong – Cai Rang market .
Then, continuation of the excursion to an ecological garden with exotic fruit trees of the South. Tasting of fruits on the spot and then disembarkation at the local market of An Binh.
Return to Saigon.
Dinner at local restaurant and overnight at hotel in Saigon
Day 15: Saigon, free time and then transfer for departure (B)
Breakfast at the hotel.
Free time for rest, final shopping and packing before transfer to Saigon International Airport for your flight home.
End of circuit in Vietnam.
