    The ancient rock city of Sigiriya is one of the most amazing ruins in Sri Lanka. Sigiriya Rock, also called an impregnable natural granite fortress, is a representative cultural heritage designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1982 as an overwhelming representative image that appears in Sri Lanka travel photos.

    DambullaYou will explore in the cave at the Dambulla Cave Temple Complex. Dambulla is an ancient city with a history of early inhabitants reaching as far back as 7th to 3rd century BC. The place is famous for the largest and best preserved cave temple complex. The complex contain statues and paintings, along with having the largest rose quartz mountain in South Asia from 1st century BCE. There are five caves under a vast overhanging rock and the ceilings.
