    Who is Gaudi?

A brilliant architect associated with Art Nouveau (or Modern style), Antoni Gaudí (1852–1926) left his mark on Barcelona with his organic and fantastic constructions… not to mention the unclassifiable Sagrada Família, unfinished church. A total artist, Gaudí designed everything from architecture to the door knob. He is a bit like Hector Guimard for us. Moreover, like the latter, Gaudí first grew up in the cult of neo-Gothic before giving free rein to his imagination, inspired by nature and geometrics. His works are classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
