China

Entry Regulations

  • Previously issued Chinese Visa, entry acceptance and APEC card holders are not permitted to enter China
  • Arrival Visa and No-Visa transit/entry terminated

Restriction Exceptions

  • Diplomacy, government work, C Visa holders are permitted to enter China
  • Newly issued Visa holders are permitted to enter China
  • The following previously issued 工作(Work – Z), 团聚(Family Residence – Q), 私人事务(Personal Affairs – S) visas are permitted to enter China
  • Passengers on charter flights, holders of a KJ visa, etc., are subject to separate regulations

Japan

Entry Regulations

  • No-Visa entries have been suspended/ All previously issued Visas are not valid. (Must have a visa upon entering the country)
  • New visas issued before December 2nd has been suspended
    • Exception : Spouse of Japanese, spouse of permanent resident, diplomatic visa holder , Consular letter holder

Required Documents and Preparations

  • Negative PCR test result tested within 72 hours of departure must be issued and submitted.

Quarantine Regulations

  • Quarantine measures for Red, Yellow, Blue 3 areas [HERE]

    • Red region, vaccinated, and Yellow region, not vaccinated: PCR test upon entry and self-quarantine for 3 days

South Korea

Entry Regulation

  • Temporary suspension of Visa Waiver Agreement and Visa-Free Entry [Restricted Countries]
  • K-ETA application [HERE]
  • Visa required countries : Sudan, Syria, Yemen, Egypt
  • Registered foreigners who departed after June 1st, 2021, must hold a valid re-entry permit.
    • Exception : Diplomatic(A-1), Government Officials (A-2), Agreement(A-3) Overseas Korean(F-4) visa holders
    • Re-entry permit is not required for foreigners who are registered for departure after April 1st, 2022.

Quarantine Regulations

Entry Regulations

Hong Kong

Entry Regulations

  • Hong Kong residents and valid visa holders

  • Different regulations apply depending on the departure location before entering Hong Kong

  • Departure from all regions except China/Macau
    • Applicable Passengers : Fully-vaccinated Hong Kong residents (Hong Kong permanent residents or long-term visa holders) and non-Hong Kong residents
    • Required documents (All documents must be prepared in English or Chinese; copies or electronic documents are possible)

Quarantine Regulations

  • PCR and RAT test after arrival at the airport (applied from 00:00 on August 12)

Vietnam

Entry Regulations

  • Vietnam citizens, Valid visa holders / Permanent residents / Visa restriction exemption / Foreigners with pre-approval special entry documents
  • Passengers can stay within 15 days from the date of entry regardless of passport type, purpose of entry under list of countries including South Korea
    • List of countries : South Korea, Japan, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, United Kingdom, Russia, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Belarus
    • Entry Regulations
      • Passengers must hold passport with more than 6 months until expiration date
      • Passengers must hold round-trip tickets
      • Duration of stay : 15days

Singapore

Entry Regulations

  • Fully-vaccinated
    • Singapore citizens/permanent residents without prior entry approval may enter the country with a valid Singapore visa
    • Countries that signed a visa-free agreement allow free-visa entry
      (Passengers must hold passport with more than 6 months until expiration date, including South Korea)
  • Unvaccinated
    • Singapore citizens/ permanent residents, Long Term Pass holders/ short term visitors with prior entry approval
      • Long-Term holders who are 13 or older and are not vaccinated are not allowed to enter the country after July 1st.
    • Short term visitors with permission for entry obtained in advance must have Travel Insurance guaranteed minimum of 30,000,000 SGD
    • Passengers must self-quarantine for at least 7 days upon arrival and require PCR test upon release of quarantine

    • Vaccinated certification must include name/passport number or date of birth/vaccinated country/vaccine type/vaccination dates

  • Negative COVID-19 test result (Pre-Departure Test)
    • Applicable Passengers : Those who have not completed vaccination or Unvaccinated
    • Issuance standards : Test within 2 days of departure, Only English
    • Testing Method : PCR or Antigen Rapid Test(ART)
    • Exception
      • Fully-vaccinated

  • Those who have not completed vaccination : self-quarantine for 7 days

Additional Notice

  • Transit regulations
    • Unable to connect to LCC, Some transfer restrictions may occur for those traveling with SQ flight
    • Passengers must complete the connection procedures to the final destination

Indonesia

Entry Regulations

  • Arrival Visa for tourism/government purposes is allowed only for some nationalities (including South Korea) (As of April 6, 2022)
    • Passengers can stay for 30 days and extend the period for an additional 30 days only once
    • Passengers must hold passport with more than 6 months until expiration date (Emergency passports and travel documents are not allowed)
    • Passengers must hold a return ticket or departure to a third country
    • Passengers must have a cost IDR of 500,000 or USD 36 (paid in cash on arrival)
    • For government purposes, an invitation letter issued by the Indonesian government is required

Quarantine Regulations

  • Depending on the vaccination completion stage, the quarantine standards are different
    • Passengers who have been Vaccinated 1st dose or unvaccinated : 5 days of hotel quarantine
    • Passengers who have been vaccinated at least 2nd dose : quarantine exemption
    • In case of COVID-19 symptoms, PCR test must be conducted at the Arrival hall (Welcome Hall)
    • When accompanied by children under the age of 18, children will apply for the same quarantine standards as their parents/guardians

Cambodia

Entry Regulations

  • Passengers must submit full vaccination proof (It is unnecessary to hand in a Negative COVID-19 Test Result.)
    • WHO recommended number of vaccines must be met by standard
    • Document preparation must be required in English

Quarantine Regulations

  • Those who are unvaccinated or have not completed vaccination must get Rapid Antigen Test upon entry (Self-pay fee condition: 5 USD)

Thailand

Entry Regulations

Restriction Exceptions

  • Thai nationals, spouse/parent or child of Thai national
  • People who have been invited and approved by the Prime Minister of Thailand
  • Permanent residents of Thailand, holders of employment permits or labor permits
  • Students at educational institutions approved by the Thai government (including students’ parents)
  • Ministries of foreign affairs, international organizations, government representatives, foreign government agencies working in Thailand, international institutions (including spouses, parents, and children)
  • Medical purposes
  • Valid Visa holder

Philippines

Entry Regulations

  • Entry permitted for valid visa holders
  • Visa-Free Entry Permitted Countries LIST [HERE]
  • Conditions for visa-free entry
    • Must be pre-registered for OHP(One Health Pass)
    • Passengers must hold vaccination certificate (Unvaccinated foreigners are not allowed to enter the country without a visa)
    • Flight ticket departing within 30 days after entering the Philippines
    • Passport with at least 6 months of validity
    • Negative test result tested within 48 hours of departure (Applicable to those who have completed the 2nd vaccination)

Restriction Exceptions

  • Past Philippines nationals (Balikbayan) and their family members such as spouse, parents, children, etc.
    • Visa-free entry is allowed when accompanied with their family member, but proof of family relationship is required
  • Holders of a valid Philippine special visa (9G, 9E, etc.)

Required Documents and Preparations

  • Negative COVID-19 test result
    • Standard of testing : RT-PCR (Passengers must take test within 48 hours of departure) / Antigen (Passengers must take test within 24 hours of departure)
    • Mandatory Indication : Name/Birth date/Test method/Test period

    • Philippines nationals may enter the country with proof of recovery + positive PCR test result (test documents tested within 48 hours + documents issued between 10~30 days before departure).

    • Applicable Passengers : All foreigners who entered the country
      • Exceptions : Children under the age of 12 (accompanied by vaccinated guardian with the same quarantine conditions) , diplomatic visa(9E) holders

Uzbekistan

Entry Regulations

  • Passengers with South Korean citizenship may enter for 30 days without a visa. (Under the circumstances that a return flight is booked, a maximum 30 days of stay is permitted)
  • Passengers who are nationals or have stayed in/transferred from the country listed below within the last 14 days are not allowed for entry.
    • South Africa, Botswana, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Madagascar, Lesotho, Eswatini, Tanzania, Hong Kong

Required Documents and Preparations

  • Passengers must submit negative COVID-19 PCR test result.
    • Test result must have been issued within 48 hours prior to departure. [Uzbekistan Government designated testing facilities]
      • Example : Passengers arriving on February 23rd, 2022 at 17:10pm(Flight OZ573) will need a test result issued after February 21th, 2022 at 17:10pm(standard Korean time)
    • Must be in English or Russian, not needed for 2 years and younger
