Entry Regulations

  • Australian citizens/permanent residents and their immediate families, New Zealand citizens residing in Australia, foreigners with valid visa(including ETA) are allowed for entry. [Here]

Required Documents and Preparations

  • Passengers must hold a negative PCR test result tested within 3 days prior to departure or a negative antigen test result tested within 24 hours prior to departure
    • must be issued in English (Original, copy, email, and electronic documents all permitted)
    • Exception : Children with the age of 4 or under
    • test result required even if passenger has been vaccinated
  • Passengers must fill out and submit Digital Passenger Declaration(DPD) within 72 hours of departure [Here]
  • Vaccination Proof
    • Issuance method : Notarization in written or digital, in English or translated (full contents)
    • Accepted vaccines : AstraZeneca, Pfizer, Moderna, Sinovac, Sinopharm(under the age of 60 only), Bharat nasal vaccine, Johnson & Johnson Janssen, Sputnik V
      (Must be at least 14 day interval between 2 time vaccination, must be at least 7 days after 2nd dose, mix of vaccines allowed) [Here]
    • Required Items : Name (identical to passport), Date of birth or passport number, vaccine name, vaccination date by dose or date of final vaccination dose.
    • If vaccinated in Australia: ICVC proof issued by the Australian government required
    • If vaccinated in other countries: Vaccination proof issued by government facility or hospital required
    • Exception : Children age of 12 under, Australian citizens/permanent residents who cannot be vaccinated for medical reasons (Medically diagnosed documents or related documents are required) 12~17 years old traveling with vaccinated guardian

Quarantine Regulations

  • Vaccinated overseas passengers arriving at Sydney (NSW)
    • Passengers must be quarantined after arrival until they receive the COVID-19 test result (as of December 21st, 2021) (quarantine period varies by each state)

Additional Notice

  • Passengers with valid visa or eligibility to transfer without a visa may transfer within 72 hours. (The quarantine period will be shortened to 10 days as of March 7th)
    • Transit within 8 hours : Standby in the transfer area
    • Transit 8 hours ~ 72 hours: Isolation and standby at the designated facility until the departure of the connecting flight
