Japan

Entry Regulations

Quarantine Regulations

South Korea

Entry Regulation

  • Temporary suspension of Visa Waiver Agreement and Visa-Free Entry [restricted Countries]
  • Visa required countries : Sudan, Syria, Yemen, Egypt, Japan
  • Registered foreigners who departed after June 1st, 2021, must hold a valid re-entry permit.
    • Exception : Diplomatic(A-1), Government Officials (A-2), Agreement(A-3) Overseas Korean(F-4) visa holders

Required Documents and Preparations

  • All passengers (nationals/foreigners) must submit negative PCR test result when entering South Korea.
    • Exception
      • Children under the age of 6 accompanied by a negative test result holder
      • Transferring passengers
      • Passengers subject to quarantine exemption for humanitarian/official business trips
      • Korean shift crew from Singapore (must carry Korean Passport and Korean crew notebook)
      • Korean nationals departing from Ukraine, Foreign nationals spouse of Korean nationals, Lineal ascendants and descendants
      • Native with COVID-19 infection and treatment history(released from quarantine) within 10 ~ 40 days before departure date (as of March 7th 00:00am)
        • * If departing on March 7th, confirmed as COVID-19 within the following period: January 26th ~ February 25th

    • Testing Method : Inspection based on NATTs technique (RT-PCR, LAMP, TMA, SDA, NEAR etc.)
    • Contents : Name (as stated on the passport), date of birth or passport number, testing method, test date, test result (negative), issued date, testing facility
    • Issued Language : Inspection method must be issued in Korean or English
      • In case of local language, documents must be submitted with Korean or English translation and translation certificate.

    • If departing from Philippines, Indonesia, Uzbekistan : Must be issued at designated testing facility
      • In case of Indonesia, only Non-professional Employment Visa(E-9) and Vessel Crew Visa(E-10) are applicable.

Quarantine Regulations

  • All passengers entering Korea are required to be quarantined for 7 days regardless of vaccination.
    • Exception
      • Quarantine exemption holders issued after December 2nd, 2021
      • Saipan Travel Bubble qualified passengers, Singapore VTL-qualified passengers
    • All nationals/residents : 7 days self-quarantine (Diagnostic test administered at health center within 1 day)
    • Short-term visit foreigners: 7 days quarantine and tests at temporary living facility (Fees self-paid)
      • Passengers with confirmed family members (spouse, lineal ascendants and descendants, spouse’s lineal ascendant and descendants, up to 3rd relative) that are currently living in Korea as nationals and/or long-term foreign nationals are allowed self-quarantine
  • Instructions of South Korean Government (regarding quarantine procedures for inbound and/or overseas travelers)
  • Check for fever before boarding: Not allowed to board if temperature is 37.5 degrees or higher

Additional Notice

  • Passengers with flights departing within 24 hours of arrival are allowed entry for transfer.
  • You cannot use domestic flights within 14 days of entering Korea (Jeju residents or persons with quarantine exemption documents are exempt)
  • All passengers except those who have completed vaccination are obligated to use the anti-epidemic transportation.

Taiwan

Entry Regulations

  • Taiwan nationals, Taiwan permanent residents

Hong Kong

Entry Regulations

  • Hong Kong residents and valid visa holders
  • Unvaccinated passengers (including Hong Kong residents) who stayed/transferring for more than 2 hours in Group A countries within the last 21 days are not allowed for entry.
  • Passengers who have stayed in Australia, Canada, France, India, Pakistan, Philippines, England, U.S.A and Nepal for more 2 hours (including transfer) are not allowed for entry or transfer. (~April 20th)

Restriction Exceptions

  • Negative COVID-19 test result
    • Issued Date : Tested within 2 days of departure, must be issued in English

  • QR CODE obtained by filling out the the E-HAC menu in the Peduli Lindungi APP must be shown at screening upon arrival
    • For passengers that cannot register through E-HAC, it may be filled out manually upon arrival

Quarantine Regulations

  • Depending on the vaccination completion stage, the quarantine standards are different
    • 1st Dose Vaccinated Passengers : 7 days hotel quarantine
    • 2nd ~ 3rd Dose Vaccinated Passengers : 1 day hotel quarantine

Cambodia

Entry Regulations

    • Non-vaccinated are not eligible for Visa-Free Entry (Vaccination certificates issued by the Korean government are accepted as of February 10th)
    • Flight ticket departing within 30 days after entering the Philippines
    • Passport with at least 6 months of validity
    • Travel Insurance Documents including Covid-19 treatment (Minimum of 35,000 USD guaranteed)
    • Negative test result tested within 48 hours of departure

Restriction Exceptions

  • Philippines nationals with a 9A Visa and their foreign spouse, children, and parents (No-Visa entry permitted if traveling together)
  • Balikbayan (Past Philippines nationals) No-Visa entry permitted
    • Spouse, Parent and children of Balikbayan are permitted to enter without Visa if traveling together
  • All foreign nationals with a visa excluding 9A is permitted to enter.
    • 9A is permitted to enter with a DFA Endorsement letter

Required Documents and Preparations

  • passengers are required to wear a face mask at all times

Uzbekistan

Entry Regulations

  • Passengers with South Korean citizenship may enter for 30 days without a visa. (Under the circumstances that a return flight is booked, a maximum 30 days of stay is permitted)
  • Passengers who are nationals or have stayed in/transferred from the country listed below within the last 14 days are not allowed for entry.
    • South Africa, Botswana, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Madagascar, Lesotho, Eswatini, Tanzania, Hong Kong

Required Documents and Preparations

  • Passengers must submit negative COVID-19 PCR test result.
    • Test result must have been issued within 48 hours prior to departure. [Uzbekistan Government designated testing facilities]
      • Example : Passengers arriving on February 23rd, 2022 at 17:10pm(Flight OZ573) will need a test result issued after February 21th, 2022 at 17:10pm(standard Korean time)
    • Must be in English or Russian, not needed for 2 years and younger

Quarantine Regulations

  • Countries with 10 days self-quarantine after entering Uzbekistan : Australia, Austria, Belgium, England, Germany, Denmark, Israel, Italy, Netherlands, Czechia, Egypt
